Trevor Noah: Award Winning Comedian

AWARD-WINNING COMEDIAN

TREVOR NOAH

NAUTILUS 5711

Brown Gradated Dial, Rose Gold Bracelet

His dad is Swiss and his wristwatch, too. His mother is Xhosa. The South African comedian and host of The Daily Show is also on Netflix with shows like "Son of Patricia" and "Afraid of the Dark," and has sold out a stand-up world tour. Add to that his producing credits, a bestselling book, an increasing number of red-carpet appearances and his 10.4 million and 5.7 million Twitter and Instagram followers, respectively, and you’re touching the tip of the iceberg of Trevor Noah's celebrity.

This Nautilus fan has received a Primetime Emmy Award win from six nominations and was named one of "The 35 Most Powerful People in New York Media" by The Hollywood Reporter in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, Time magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world.

His 2016 book, Born a Crime, became a #1 New York Times Bestseller and was named one of the best books of the year by The New York Times, Newsday, Esquire, NPR, and Booklist. A film adaptation based on the book will star Lupita Nyong'o as Trevor's mother Patricia.

A few years ago, he took the helm of Comedy Central’s flagship show—and the most politically influential comedy program on TV—The Daily Show. Since then Noah has been an object of both fascination and perplexity. He became the youngest comic anchor in an evening slot.
